Some reproduction fulcrum pins use a very poor design and can
break. While this typically happens at low speed while backing up, it is never
a good thing to have happen. So, look at the photo below, and then carefully
examine your fulcrum pins to ensure that you are not at risk. The fulcrum pin
on the right is the original, the one on the left is the poor reproduction.
You can see where the pin has been weakened by excessive machining for bolt
clearance. Not all reproduction fulcrum pins are made with this poor design.
